Page Under Construction

SSgt Chris Forsythe was injured in July 2007 when the Humvee he was riding in was attacked by an Improvised Explosive Device in the are of Bucca, Iraq.  The explosion ripped through the vehicle resulting in shrapnel injuries and broken limbs.  At the time of the attack, SSgt Forsythe was part of Scorpion 1-6, whose job it was to patrol certain stretches of roadway looking for IEDs and insurgents.  SSgt Forsythe was injured in the same area of roadway where A1C Elizabeth Jacobson was killed by an IED in 2005.
