Eagle Chapter was the first
Air Force Security Police Association (AFSPA) chapter to be
located in North Atlantic Region (AFSPA was later renamed the Air Force Security Forces Association to mirror the change in name of the careerfield).
The
Eagle Chapter was chartered on July 22, 2003.
Membership in Eagle Chapter is free to all
AFSFA
members who reside in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia,
Washington DC, or West Virginia. The Air Force
Security Forces Association (AFSFA) is a world-wide organization
serving the Air Police, Security Police, and Security Forces members through
many local chapters. Since the formation of the Security Police Association in 1986 (and the recent renaming to match the careerfield), the AFSFA has
been a prime factor in preserving and enhancing the honor
and pride that are inherent in the Security Forces profession.
Our membership spans generations
encompassing the military policemen (Air Provost Marshal) of
World war II and continuing over the years to the men and women
who are serving their first assignment today.
Membership is open to anyone serving or
who has served honorably in the Army Air Corps, MP's, USAF Air
Police, Security Police, or that component of the Air National
Guard, Air Force Reserves, IMAs or DOD Police Officers, etc. |
