I was born May 20, 1943, Baltimore, Maryland. Graduated from High School in Clearfield, Pa. 1961. Joined the USAF in Oct. 1961. Graduated from Air Police Tech School in 1962. First assignment Altus AFB, OK(62-64); next assignment RAF Alconbury, England(64-67); next on to Wurtsmith AFB, MI(67-68); Then on to Bien Hoa, VN(68-69); next assignment Minot AFB, ND(69-74); next Elmendorf AFB, AK(74-78); next Kirtland AFB, NM(78-84); next Osan AFB, Korea(84-85); then back to Kirtland AFB, NM(85-91) where I retired.

After retirement I went to work as the Operations Manager with Burns International Security Company (91-94).

I spent 14 years with the US Postal Service (1994-2008) as a mail handler and supervisor from which I retired.

I graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with an Associate's degree in Police Science and a BS degree in Education from Southern Illinois University.

I held the position of 1606th Air Base Wing, Senior Enlisted Advisor while on my second tour at Kirtland AFB.

I was selected as the 1606 ABW Sr NCO of the year in 1982 and 1985.

I'm a life member of Vietnam Security Police Association and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Association.

I have held the follow jobs in the Air Police/Security Police Career field; Ramp rat, Gate Guard, Desk Sgt., Armor, K-9 handler, Kennel Master, Acting First Sgt., Security Flight Chief, NCOIC Training, NCOIC Armory, OPS NCOIC of Law Enforcement and Security and Group Manager.
