Security Forces Association

I retired from the USAF after 27 years of service.  At the time, I was the "Careerfield Manager" for Security Forces and serving on the General Staff within the XOF (Security Forces) Directorate (since redesignated as "A7S").

As the careerfield manager, I was the senior advisor to the USAF Director of Security Forces on all matters affecting 30,000 security forces members.  I helped translate senior leaders’ concepts and visions into viable policies protecting nuclear and non-nuclear assets and almost 400,000 people at 188 locations worldwide. 

When I retired, I first went to work for SAIC as an Associate Director for Integrated Security Strategies.  I led and managed teams of security experts performing high-level risk, threat and vulnerability assessments for prominent corporate and government clients worldwide.

I left SAIC and then went to work for L-3 Communications first as the Director of Advanced Systems, then the Deputy to the Geneal Manager, then as the Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Security Systems and Solutions.  As the GM, I manage a diverse organization of engineering and security professionals for a Lead Systems Integrator. I have responsibility for profit and loss, schedule and performance across a diverse range of force protection and security programs.  I oversee multiple material management and warehouse operations supporting clients world-wide with end-to-end logistics, test and acceptance, training and QA/QC services. I also operate and oversee the business operations of a microwave transceiver and RF radio production facility and manage an extensive products sales department.

I earned an associate's degree from the Community College of the Air Force and graduated Summe Cum Laude with a BS degree in Criminology from Park University.  I am a Certified Protection Professional with the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).

I have a variety of honors and awards including the Airman's Medal for life saving actions at the Pentagon during the 9-11 attacks.
