AFSPA Participates in 1st Annual Commemoration and Dedication of
the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Memorial for Staff Sergeant
John T. Self at Little Rock AFB Arkansas. Eagle Chapter Member
and Proud Warrior Chairman, Peter Nutt, joins parents of
SSgt John T. Self
at Little Rock AFB Memorial. Following the dedication, Vice Chairman Hercules Chapter AFSPA presented the Self family with Eagle Chapter's GWOT Shadow Box as a small token of our appreciation of their sacrifice. Eagle's Peter Nutt was invited to the memorial by Brig. Gen. Rowayne A. Schatz Jr. Commander, 314th Airlift Wing, and Installation Commander, Little Rock AFB, Ark. Pete also appears alongside memorial with the 314 SFS Commander, Major Ford. SSgt Self was killed in action in Iraq on May 14, 2007. |
